Qualipieces’ four main products are geared to give the snowmobile its desired adherence as generated by the driving habits displayed by its operator. Among these items are the regular runner, the carbide runner, the dual carbide runner and the anti-darting plate.
Each product possesses different characteristics, allowing it to be self-sufficient and adequate for all type of driving habits. Among these, we find the square or diamond-shape carbide stopper’s length, the angle subsequently formed by the carbide’s tip added to the total length of the carbide on the runner.
The length of the stopper generally measures between 1/8” and 3/16”. Extending its length will increase the regular runner’s resistance. However, since this procedure requires an additional amount of carbide, runners equipped with 3/16” stoppers will be more expensive.
The angle formed by the tip of the carbide is generally located between 60° and 90°. The smaller the angle forming the tip or head of the carbide, the sharper the carbide and, the greater will the snowmobile’s grip be on icy surface turns.
The length of the carbide found on the runner generally varies between 4” and 10”. As the length of the carbide increases, the runner will in turn prove to be more aggressive. The snowmobile equipped with 6” carbide runners are least likely to skid out of control in the turns than those equipped with only a 4” carbide runner.
The retractable wheel system for snowmobile skis - RollerSki reduces wear of your anti-dartings, runners and skis and enables safety driving in the city or on road shoulders. Its self-lubricating spring is build so no rust or freezing affects its operation.
Build so the weight rest on the axle, it's thus safe to leave the snowmobile on the wheels, as the skis will not bend.
